Bon Jovi: March 17, 2011
It’s not too early to start planning for one of the hottest bands slated to hit San Antonio this year that’s right, Bon Jovi is set to storm AT&T Center on March 17th and we know it’s going to be a rowdy good time since San Antonio knows how to party better than any other city in Texas (yeah, Houston thinks they have it covered with their rodeo, but they’re not gonna have Jon around this year, are they)? As far as we can see the band’s only Texas venue is right here in San Antonio (and we are so honored that they chose us). According to the buzz on the street the party has already started in anticipation of the big night and it’s going to only get more rowdy as time goes on and folks from the rest of the great state of Texas (and beyond) flock to our River Walk fame to get a sample of our hospitality and what it’s like to live in this great city. We’ll make them welcome of course, since that’s our style; but we’ll also be humming “It’s My Life” to ourselves because we’re the ones that are lucky enough to enjoy the crisp Texas spring temperatures averaging in the mid-60s while places up north might still be contending with ice storms. Can you say “the panhandle?” All gloating aside, our best tip for right now is to secure a couple of tickets for you and the one you sing “Thank You For Loving Me” to every night and get ready to present them on Valentine’s Day tightly wrapped with a big red bow. And then get ready to party: San Antonio style!
